Style Me Pretty Submission       06.17.2011

Premise: a creative shoot that offers an ode to the simplicity of both princess Diana and Kate Middleton as well as a youthful take on what a royal wedding could look like. Without any specific guidelines, Principal Planner WEdding & Events sprung for an understated opulence that lends endless inspiration to all royalty smitten peeps.

WedLuxe: Jennifer + Alex       06.16.2011

The couple worked with Gabrielle de Melo of Casamentos Haute Couture Weddings to plan their elegant affair. “Gabrielle was worth her weight in gold and more! At our wedding she looked just as happy as our parents!” recalls Jennifer.

WedLuxe: Nicole + Adam       06.16.2011

The obvious choice for the couple’s wedding day venue was the incredible Graydon Hall Manor. Together, Nicole and Adam orchestrated a day that was a true reflection of them both. “Because Adam was very involved, the wedding was ‘our’ wedding. I would have designed it a little differently had it been 'my' wedding but I was so much happier that he was right beside me with an opinion on everything.” 

Luxe: Sanaz + Puya       06.16.2011

The wedding took place on July 2, 2010. The bride—a wedding planner who owns Lux Events— planned her own wedding (of course)!

Sanaz’s custom gown was belted with a crystal-encrusted sash. Puya wore a classic blackHugo Boss suit. WeddingBells: Greta + Etienne       06.16.2011

I had no idea what was happening as the show had been finished for a few hours by now and the stage was completely dark. We walked backstage, and I peeked onto the stage and there was a pool of light in the middle of it. He led me into the spotlight and at that moment, music started playing throughout the theatre (a song that I love, ‘I’ll Be’ by Edwin McCain) and the curtain rose. The house was sparkling, just barely lit, and there on the floor in front of the curtain was a small black box. He took the box, knelt on one knee and asked me to marry him. Then we danced together alone in the spotlight.”
