Apiary
We are proud of our busy little bees that work hard every spring, summer, and autumn pollinating, not only our flowers, but all surrounding plants. Their efforts produce the honey we use throughout our menus and in some of our cocktails. With nearly 90% of all wild plants and 75% of global crops depending on pollination, we take great pride in playing even a small part in the crucial process.
In 2018 we hosted our first 3 hives. Our wee apiary has since grown to 7 hives. When deciding whether to play host to the bee hotels we were buzzing with excitement to be approved as a safe environment for our bees to not only survive but thrive.
Our bees are tucked away in a quiet nook on our property, ensuring their safety and close proximity to our flower & herb gardens. We diligently maintain their homes and look forward to the annual honey yield!
